About Our Upcoming Discussion:

You Are Doing Maslow's Hierarchy All Wrong!

Why the pressures of self-actualizing are stressing you OUT

Your Leadership, Well-Being, and the Misinterpretation of Maslow's Hierarchy.

For years, Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs has been understood as a linear pathway, with self-actualization at the top. But what if the way we have been approaching this framework is not only misguided but also leading to unnecessary pressure and stress? This session will explore how we are “doing Maslow all wrong” and how this affects our leadership and personal well-being. You’ll learn how to rethink your journey toward self-actualization and, instead, focus on creating balance across all levels of the hierarchy.

This session will cover:

- How the traditional interpretation of Maslow’s Hierarchy has been misconstrued.

- The impact of placing self-actualization as an unreachable "pinnacle" and how it stresses leaders.

- Why balance across Maslow's needs is more important than striving for the top.

- Practical strategies to reframe the pursuit of growth and leadership without overwhelming yourself.

- How leaders can apply these lessons to create healthier, less stressful work environments.

Why Attend?

By the end of this Leadership Learning Hour, you’ll gain a fresh perspective on how Maslow’s Hierarchy truly works and actionable strategies for promoting emotional, psychological, and physical well-being in your personal and professional life. You'll leave equipped with tools to stop stressing about self-actualization and start leading with balance and intention.

Who Should Attend?

This session is designed for leaders, aspiring leaders, and professionals who feel overwhelmed by the pressure of constant self-improvement and are looking to create a more sustainable approach to growth and leadership.
